Judgment only hurts us when we believe it. When we take on other people’s projections, it’s like an arrow piercing our heart. But when we don’t agree with the story they’re telling about us, that same arrow passes through like smoke. This is the path of radical softness. Our strength comes from the wholeness we find within. My defenselessness is my defense. We don’t have to prove our worth, or fight to be respected. We get to say: “I’m not available for this energy.” And walk away in peace.
