Growth is beautiful — but if it doesn’t feel safe in our nervous system, then we’ll just trigger each other into reactivity, control, and shutdown. Which is the opposite of the place we need to be in order to grow. When we both feel safe, seen, and respected, then real intimacy and deep growth becomes possible.
